Version 1.0 of the Oregon Atlas of Collaboration is live! This first iteration of the Atlas focuses on state-connected collaboratives. It includes both a broad overview and individual profiles for these 236 state-connected collaboratives around Oregon. The overview is also available as a standalone document and provides context about the state-connected collaboratives and the policy areas – economic development, education, health, natural resources and public safety – where state-connected collaboration is active in Oregon. Both publications can be accessed and downloaded from our Resources page.
The Atlas project is meant to be ongoing. This first iteration does not yet capture the full breadth of important collaboration active in Oregon—some of the collaboratives initiated by communities or convened through the Oregon Solutions and Oregon Consensus programs.
The Oregon Atlas of Collaboration project is substantially informed by input from people who are active in collaboratives across the state and connected state agencies. During the summer, the Oregon Atlas team facilitated four regional focus groups and a two-part state agency focus group to learn more about the experiences of collaborative practitioners. A new summary report captures highlights of these conversations related to successes, challenges, and opportunities for future exploration of state agency-connected collaboration in Oregon. We extend our sincere thanks to each of the individuals who participated in these focus groups.
